All divisions have a $5.00 entry fee. $1 from each entry fee will go to the Ark-Valley Humane Society.
Notes: This is a Colorado Disc Dogs Event. It is not a UFO or Skyhoundz event. References to these organizations are for convenience of rules only. The field will be set up with UFO specifications. Therefore there are no out of bounds.
Open Division: $5.00

Novice Division: $5.00
2 rounds of 1 minute each. Scored with UFO guidelines
Frisbee Beginner Freestyle: $5.00
Open to anyone who has not entered a freestyle event at any recognized disc dog event. The one exception to this is that if a team entered the Colorado Disc Dogs Beginner Freestyle event in Breckenridge in 2007 they will still be eligible for the Buena Vista Canine Classic Beginner Freestyle event. This event will consist of a 60 or 90 second routine (competitor's choice), and will be judged according to Skyhoundz PAWS guidelines. Prizes will be awarded for this event.
Frisbee Recreational Division: $5.00
This division is designed to be a non-competitive division, appealing to those who want to ”just play” or perhaps gain a little more experience before trying a competition. The division is open to anyone, regardless of the experience level of handler or dog. Competitors will have a choice of a single 60 second round of Toss and Catch or a 60 or 90 second freestyle routine for each team. The Toss & Catch will be scored according to UFO guidelines while the freestyle will be judged according to Skyhoundz PAWS guidelines. Teams will NOT be ranked, nor will there be a final standings posted, or prizes awarded. Upon request, competitors will receive a copy of their score sheet following the event, but it will not contain any final standings information. The same team (thrower AND dog) may not compete in both the Rec Division and a competitive division at the *same* event.
Frisbee Junior Division: Free
Open to anyone 12 and under. There is no cost for this division. There will only be a single 60 second Toss and Catch (Mini Distance) round for each team. The round will be scored according to the normal scoring rules for a UFO Local Novice Event.
